The History of Video Isle
Video Isle's first store opened in Seattle on Queen Anne Hill in 1986. We started out with less than a thousand videos to offer as our selection. Our goal back then was to provide a comfortable environment for folks to come browse what we believed was a carefully chosen selection of titles. We were one of the first stores in Seattle to expand our movie offerings to include foreign, documentary and smaller independent films. Our goal was to become known as the best neighborhood video store our customers had ever visited and to be thought of as a business with heart and personality. With the help of many characters that played roles on the Video Isle "stage", a second Video Isle store came to the upper Fremont neighborhood in 1989.

About the Owner of Video Isle
As owner of Video Isle, Craig Wilson believed in being part of the community that was so generous in its loyalty to his business. As an active member of the Queen Anne Merchants Association, a Queen Anne Helpline board member, a sponsor and supporter of youth sports such as Little League and Soccer clubs, and as a contributor to many auctions and fund raisers for schools and churches, Video Isle and Craig Wilson reaped the largest rewards of owning your own business... that of actually being part of the life and spirit of the community and not just part of the landscape.

To sign up as a new customer at Video Isle is easy.
To rent movies from us all you have to do is provide us with your I.D., current address, phone number, and a valid credit card for rental property security purposes.
Reservations
Members are welcome to reserve movies up to a week in advance.
We will hold reservations for that day until 8 p.m.
